Dr Andrew Booth is a basic physician trainee in SA health with aspirations in general medicine. Andrew has a background in computer science and data engineering. He is an advocate for direct clinician involvement in clinical informatics and healthcare analytics, and has developed several clinical applications functioning in parallel to the EMR. Andrew is passionate about developing further clinical applications to improve patient care, institutional efficiency, and augment audit/research dataset extraction. He has subsequently pursued post-graduate studies in biostatistics and will be undertaking a digital health fellowship alongside his ongoing physician training.

Dr Tabitha Healey After 20 years in Medical Oncology, Dr Tabitha Healey understands what matters most - relationships, health and wellbeing. Recognising that her passion lay in prevention rather than palliation,Tabitha established Small moments, Big lives, an Executive Health Coaching Practice in 2019 with a focus on burnout and evidence based wellbeing strategies. Alongside her coaching practice, Tabitha is an educator, speaker, clinical hypnotist and sits on a number of health related boards. Working with professional clients across Health, Education and Engineering, Tabitha challenges individuals to take back control, professionally and personally.

Professor Glenn King completed his PhD at the University of Sydney before postdoctoral studies as an NHMRC CJ Martin Fellow at the University of Oxford. In 2007, he joined the Institute for Molecular Bioscience at the University of Queensland after completing his academics at the University of Sydney and the University of Connecticut Health Center. Glenn is a leader in the field of venoms-based drug and insecticide discovery. His early work on spider venoms led him to found Vestaron Corporation, an agricultural biotechnology company that developed the world’s first peptide-based bioinsecticides. Glenn’s current research focuses on the development of peptide drugs to treat cardiovascular and nervous system disorders. He recently co-founded Infensa Bioscience, a biotech company developing drugs for treating stroke and myocardial infarction. His laboratory maintains one of the largest venom collections in the world, sourced from more than 500 species of invertebrates. In 2023, Glenn received the Prime Minister’s Prize for Innovation for his translational work, and in 2024 he was elected a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science.

Professor Helen Marshall AM is a clinician researcher and NHMRC Senior Fellow. She is a Consultant and Professor in Vaccinology at the Adelaide Medical School and the inaugural Clinical Research Director, Women’s and Children’s Health Network. Professor Marshall is Medical Director of the Vaccinology and Immunology Research Trials Unit, VIRTU, at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, and is the Research Leader, Vaccines and Infectious Diseases Group in the Robinson Research Institute. She was previously a member of the ATAGI, which advises the Federal Minister of Health on immunisation for the National Immunisation Program. Professor Marshall has published over 280 peer-reviewed papers in international journals and received > $52 million in grant funding. In 2019, she was awarded the South Australian Science Award for Excellence in Research Collaboration and in 2022, a Member of the Order of Australia. She is a Fellow of the Academy of Health and Medical Sciences. She is the 2023 South Australian Scientist of the Year, the 2022 SA Australian of the Year and South Australian Woman of the Year.

Professor Malcolm Pradhan Professor Malcolm Pradhan has a career in health informatics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) that spans over 25 years. He is an Adjunct Professor of Digital Health at the University of Sydney, and consults with various healthcare technology companies in AI and go-to-market strategy. Malcolm holds a medical degree from the University of Adelaide and a PhD in Medical Informatics from Stanford University in clinical AI. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Digital Health. Previously, Malcolm co-founded the Alcidion Group, an ASX-listed health IT company, working on products for the Australian, NZ and UK markets, including an EMR, virtual care, clinical and consumer mobile apps, and patient flow. His research focus includes real-time decision support, AI, NLP and predictive models. He recently founded Wattle AI to improve health care through safe, sustainable and responsible AI-driven workflow automation.

Professor Julian White AM Professor Julian White AM is a graduate of the University of Adelaide Medical School and has a special interest in clinical toxinology - having treated his first snakebite in 1976 and managed countless cases since. He is Unit Head and Clinical Toxinologist, Toxinology Dept. at the Women’s & Children’s Hospital, Adelaide, since 1990. In 1997, he co-founded and became Director of the Clinical Toxinology Short Course, held every 2 years (until the pandemic intervened), which attracts an international faculty and attendee doctors from around the world. He is also the Director of the Clinical Toxinology Resources Website (toxinology.com) and is the Immediate Past President of the International Society on Toxinology Inc. He has authored/coauthored hundreds of papers, textbook chapters, books, mostly on toxinology. From 2014 to 2018, he was one of the principles in the Australian Government-funded Myanmar Snakebite Project, improving outcomes for snakebite patients in Myanmar. In 2016, he was made a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in recognition of his contributions to toxinology, nationally and internationally.
